At Cotton Paper Co, hospitality matters, even in how we handle your information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. We are a small Southern boutique and we treat your data like we would a handwritten note entrusted to us.

Cotton Paper Co Design ("we", "us", "our") operates cottonpaper.co and offers digital paper goods: printable templates, party designs, coloring books, activity packs, invitation suites, and party printables. This policy applies to information collected through our website, our custom studio forms, our newsletter, our exit-intent freebie popup, and any direct communication with us.

Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to deliver your printable templates and keep you in the loop, when you choose to be.
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number when you provide it.
- Custom studio requests: event details, personalization notes, inspiration you share.
- SMS consent information: When you check the optional box that says "Yes, send me my freebie and porch notes via text" and agree to "I agree to receive marketing text messages from Cotton Paper Co at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply.", we store your phone number and your consent timestamp, language, and source form in our CRM with an sms_consent flag. This consent is collected via three website forms: newsletter footer, exit-intent popup for the free A is for Apple coloring page, and the Custom Studio request form. The phone field is always optional and the checkbox is unchecked by default.
- Purchase information: products selected, order ID, transaction status via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: basic analytics like pages visited, device type, and referral source to improve our shop.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver freebies, purchases, and custom design drafts.
- To respond to your custom studio ideas and customer questions.
- For email updates when you join our waitlist. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
- For SMS marketing only when you have given explicit consent via the unchecked checkbox on our forms. We use SMS to send your freebie link, new collection notes, porch updates, and special offers from Cotton Paper Co only. We never send SMS without recorded sms_consent.
- To improve our boutique templates, website experience, and customer care.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
SMS Program Details

Program name: CottonPaperCo Welcome & Shop Updates
How you opt in: You opt in by visiting https://cottonpaper.co and entering your phone number in one of our forms and checking the box that says you agree to receive marketing texts. We collect explicit consent language at the time of opt-in and store it with your contact record.
What you will receive: Your freebie delivery link, welcome notes from Crystal, new collection announcements, and occasional offers for our digital goods. All messages come from Cotton Paper Co only.
Message frequency: Up to 2 to 3 messages per week for marketing, plus transactional freebie delivery when requested. Frequency varies based on new releases.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. Our system handles STOP automatically and adds you to our suppression list. You can also email hello@cottonpaper.co to be removed.

We only send to our own customers who opted in on our site. We do not rent or buy phone lists.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing. We only share data with service providers who help us run our boutique:
- Buildy CRM (contacts with sms_consent flag) for secure contact storage
- Stripe for payment processing
- Email delivery providers for newsletters
- SMS delivery provider for transactional and marketing texts you consented to
SMS consent and phone numbers are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing.
Data Security
We use creator-only Row Level Security (RLS) rules in our database, secure HTTPS, and limited access controls. Access to customer data is limited to the owner of Cotton Paper Co. While we work to protect your information, no method is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies to keep the site running and optional analytics cookies to understand which printable templates y'all love most. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as nicely.
Your Rights
